Anyway..the latest issue of Beatlefan, Vol 27, No 5 on page 5 has a report from the red carpet at the Vegas Cirque „Love“ premiere from comments made by Apple boss Neil Aspinall: When asked about upcoming Beatle releases..
He says..“We are in the process of remastering the Beatles catalog with great, upgraded sound and redone comprehensive booklets. The catalog reissues begin in 2007.“
He also said they are discussing whether to do mono and stereo CDs or have both on each disc like the „Capitol Albums“ box. There are no plans to let other countries do specialized Beatles boxes. No planned release yet for „Let It Be“ or Shea Stadium“, but he said „maybe 2008“. He also said that they’re considering releasing a single from the upcoming „Love“ soundtrack, with „Within You Without You/ Tomorrow Never Knows“ being the leading candidate.
