Der aktuelle Stand der Plattenindustrie zwingt Künstler zu einem regelrechten Release-Marathon, denn wer weiß wie lange man mit CD’s noch Geld verdienen kann?! Auch Nas fühlt sich anscheinend diesem Druck ausgesetzt, denn obwohl gerade erst sein Album ‚Hip Hop is Dead‘ erschien, kündigt er seinen nächsten Streich für Ende 2007 an.
Nas in einem Interview mit MTV.com: ‚Mein nächstes Album ist noch nicht fertig, aber ich bin dran und ich kann’s kaum erwarten, es in Händen zu halten. Ich spüre, dass gerade ein Movement losbricht. Ich muss sicher gehen, dass ich der Kapitän des Schiffs bleibe und dieses Movement voran treibe.‘
Oh Yes, Nas ist back und glücklicherweise auch der alte Hunger. Wer weiß was dieser Typ noch alles verändern kann.
