Neuigkeiten zu GUITAR HERO II:
Der Europa-Release steht immer noch beim 30.11.06 für die PS2. Mittlerweile sind noch genauere Details nachzulesen. Sehr erfreulich: Die Songliste soll insgesamt 65 Titel umfassen! Außerdem sollen zusätzliche neue Gitarristen-Charaktere dabei sein, u.a. ein Rockabilly-Typ sowie ein Black Metaller (namens Lars Umlaut?!).
Es gibt jetzt auch eine neue, bestätigte Songliste, die noch nicht 100%ig komplett, aber doch schon sehr umfangreich ist. Erfreulicherweise kamen jetzt doch DANZIG mit „Mother“ offiziell dazu! Ein noch größerer Hammer: IGGY AND THE STOOGES mit „Search and Destroy“. Da muss ich ja glatt aufpassen, dass ich nach dem Song meinen Gibson-Controller nicht auf meinem Glastischchen zerschmettere vor Begeisterung! Auch weiterhin beweist das Guitar Hero Entwicklerteam guten Geschmack, so finden sich auch „Sweet Cild o´mine“ und „Freebird“ auf der Liste. Für die Freunde des klassischen Rockabilly/Surf wurde auch mit 3 Songs gesorgt, „Misirlou“ und der Song von Reverend Horton Heat waren ja schon bekannt, jetzt sind auch die STRAY CATS bestätigt.
Für mich eine der schönsten Überraschungen: THIN LIZZY´s „Bad Reputation“ ist auch dabei! Da ist die Vorfreude doch immens!
