Friends in France, I plea again for assistance. The Simon Joyner & The Ghosts tour in April has us visiting the U.K., The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. It seems a shame that no shows in France seem possible. I played a wonderful show on a houseboat with Conor Oberst some years ago in Paris. One of my favorite shows ever, in fact. If anyone is interested in setting up a show or two in Northern France, I’d love to add a couple of dates to my tour and visit your wonderful country while I am so close. My booking agents have had no luck securing gigs so far. Is it because techno rules the day? The dates in question are April 16-18th.
