For much of the last two years Stuart has been working – along with the members of Belle and Sebastian and an array of vocal talent – on God Help The Girl, a fourteen song album, which is released on Rough Trade worldwide and Matador (in the USA and Canada) on June 22nd /23rd.
The record now has its own website which you can find [COLOR=#0066cc]here and which also contains a free download of the first single to be taken from it, Come Monday Night, sung by Catherine Ireton.
For those who want a physical version of the single, it will hit the shops in the UK on the 11th May and features a non-album song, Howard Jones Is My Mozart on the b-side. God Help The Girl is also on My Space [COLOR=#0066cc]here.
