„As musical injustices go, the lack of chart recognition for this Brighton boy is a shocker. Harcourt is a thrownback to the days when it took a singer-songwriter such as Elton John four albums to get somewhere. This is Harcourt’s fifth, and his best, with hardly a weak spot among it’s 15 [sic] tracks. He can be unashamedly melodramatic (most evidently on Late Night Partner and Until Tomorrow Then), but this album relies much more on it’s murderously catchy Nilsson-style pop segments such as Visit From The Dead Dog. From the anthemic (Revolution In The Heart) to the despairing (the exquisite Rain On The Pretty Ones), all human life is here. It just needs a few more humans to recognise this fact.“ – * * * * – The Times Knowledge
