Es gab auch eine eingedeutschte Gesangsversion: Komm zurück in das Tal meiner Träume… (oder so ähnlich, ich hatte die Single mal), aber natürlich nicht von Johnny, sondern von den „Fellows“.
Obwohl er auch deutsches Liedgut verarbeitete: Oh, du lieber Augustin und Du, du liegst mir am Herzen gibt es mit diesen Titeln als Singles von ihm.
