Onkel TomDas finde ich in der Tat sehr erstaunlich.
Sträflich unterschätzt: tolle Songs, tolle Texte, sparsame und effektive Produktion, und ich habe Schnelligkeit und viele E-Gitarren noch nie für ein automatisches Qualitätssiegel gehalten. Mich hat Around the Sun mehr berührt als alle anderen Alben von REM. Ich weiss, dass nicht viele diese Ansicht sind, aber das ist ja okay.
