The Immigrant (2013, James Gray) ***
Mit James Gray und mir, das wird wohl leider nichts mehr. Dabei fing es damals so gut an. „Little Odessa“ fand ich grandios, „The Yards“ mochte ich auch noch. Aber danach ging nichts mehr. „Two lovers“ war der Tiefpunkt für mich und dieser Film kann auch nicht fesseln und die oftmals hochgelobten Schauspielerleistungen von Cotillard, Phoenix und Renner hinterließen bei mir auch keinen allzu nachhaltigen Eindruck.
