Das hört man gerne! Wenn die beiden Columbias auch gefallen, wäre die Atlantic-Box ein ziemlich logischer nächster Schritt. Da gibt’s dann auch noch das beste der Stücke mit gesprochenem Text (das Titelstück auf „The Clown“), Mingus als Pianist und Blues-Sänger („Oh Yeah!“), ein phantastischer Live-Mitschnitt der Band von „Mingus Presents Mingus“ (die ist nochmal etwas freier und offener als das, was Du bisher wohl kennst) mit zusätzlich Booker Ervin am Tenor (den Du auf „Better Git It in Your Soul“ und anderswo auf „Ah Um“ hören wirst) … aber das alles braucht wohl einige Zeit!
