Ich habe wieder was zum laden gefunden: „avey tare of animal collective and kria brekken played an intimate show to a crowd of about 50 people at the stone in the lower east side last night. the stone is a small performance space for experimental and avant garde music; no refreshments or merchandize. only music. kria had a beautiful grand piano to play. the sound mix was gentle and balanced; not even a cricket chirped. avey and kria played a handfull of acoustic and piano songs, rotating between instruments and even playing piano duets together. it was so calm, felt like we were over for dinner. avey tare later endearingly asked the audience, „does anyone need anything?“ content silence was the response, the performance, more then enough.“ (2006)
