Atmospheric indie rock mixed with Cocteau Twins-like goth vocals?!? It exists, comes from New York, carries the name MY BRIGHTEST DIAMOND and will be taken on tour through Europe by Sufjan Stevens. In the past they were called AWRY and in their ranks we recognize Rob Moose (who also plays with Antony & The Johnsons) and front woman Shara (also in Sufjan Stevens‘ live band).
