Weniger schöne Neuigkeiten von Ed Harcourt, die er in seinem myspace-Blog verkündet:
„So as of now I am without a record deal or publishing deal. It’s going to be an interesting time, wondering what to do with myself and not relying on EMI finances. I’m no longer in debt to EMI records( which is why they dropped me and wrote me off as a tax loss) although you’ll be interested to know that any of my songs from past records, if they’re used in films or whatever, the money goes straight into EMI Publishing’s pocket as I’m still un-recouped. Only once I’ve recouped do I make anything at all. It’s been a fun seven years; I’m writing with/for some people at the moment and looking forward to producing some more records; I’m in talks with a label in the US to finally get The Beautiful Lie out there….I guess I’m just going to keep writing writing writing singing writing playing and having some good ole fashioned fun. Lets raise a glass to the future!
