Die beste Sache aus dem Beatles Solo Kosmos ist meines Erachtens eine Best Of John Lennon (z.B. Lennon Legend). Die Soloplatten als Ganzes sind für mich alle eher zwiespältig. Aber Lennon war der einzige Beatle, der nach der Trennung noch wirkliche Songs, die in der kollektiven Erinnerung Ihren Platz haben, geschrieben hat. Instant Karma, Power to the people, Mind Games, Watching the wheels, Cold Turkey, Imagine, Jelous Guy, Starting Over, Nobody told me ….
