TomJoadDa sehr viele Wiederholungen vorkommen, hat mich das auch ein bisschen an das Album „The Rising“ erinnert, da gab es ja auch diese Tendenz. Das Songwriting finde ich hier besonders schwach, vielleicht hab ich dieses ganze Depressions-und Burnoutgelaber aber auch einfach nur satt … Hier mal der Text :

Songwriting und Storytelling sind da nicht unbedingt auf dem Höhepunkt.
Aber um mal bei Arne Willander zu bleiben. Ist das die Kapitulation? Im zeitlichen Kontext kommt die Platte dann im März 2012 ganz sicher zu spät.
Wie muss man die Platte dann verstehen? Als Abgesang auf die USA der Gegenwart taugt sie nicht. Das Zeitfenster hat sie verpasst.
Auf eine spätere Einordnung im Gesamtkatalog bin ich mal gespannt. Bis jetzt sind das für mich gesammelte Fragmente und Eindrücke der letzten fünf Jahre. Aktuelle Bestandsaufnahme geht anders.
