Diese Platte hat die Zeit überdauert: klaustrophobisch, Rhythmen nahe am Stillstand, fette Hammond-Fills, messerscharfe Gitarrensounds und ein rumpelnder, knurrender Bass, und über alledem die Stimme von Beth Gibbons mit ihrem erhabenen Wehklagen.
Mein Favorit auf „Dummy“ ist „Glory Box“ mit dem geilen Sample von Isaac Hayes „Ike’s Rap III – Your Love Is So Doggone Good“.:format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-22840-1553229404-9049.jpeg.jpg)
