Mein Lieblings-Streeter Danny Federici hat sein zweites Solo-Album draußen, es heißt „Out of a dream“ und ist wie sein Ersling „Flemington“ etwas ganz anderes als die Sachen, die er mit Bruce macht!
Danny ist ja studierter Akkordeonist und Organist und hegt privat eine große Lieb für den Jazz. Und so geht er auch solo deutlich in Richtung Jimmy Smith etc., also für alle Liebhaber dieser Musik: www.dannyfrederici.net
So und jetzt kommts!!! In einem Interview zum neuen Album wurde er gefragt:
„Should Bruce-fans start saving up for next year?“
Und er sagte:
„Well, let me tell you, they’re probably saving their money anyway! I did an interview earlier today, and the guy told me that he read in the Italian press that Bruce commented that he’s writing some songs — „rock songs“ — and that it may be his next project. And I said, “Well, that’s good to know,” because people always ask me, and I’m always the last to know! Bruce is a lucky man — he can do what he wants when he wants, and that’s really the way he operates.
