Das Label hat Wolf auch gewechselt. Da scheint es mit Tomlab etwas gekracht zu haben.
Ah, here’s to get the New Year things off to a good start with the news that Patrick Wolf has announced that he’s hard at work on his next record, and has signed a new record deal.
Mr. Wolf is currently in Vienna recording material for forthcoming album ‚The Magic Position‘ with similarly-titled engineer Patrick Pulsinger, and the young gadabout will shortly be heading to New York to rope in some „luminaries“ to give him a hand.
‚The Magic Position‘ is to be released on Loog Records, a subsidiary of Polydor. About his new deal, Patrick Wolf said: „After much label fever at the end of my tour this year, I found myself very much safe and at home with Loog/Polydor records. It is really exciting to now have the structures in place so that I can create
all the work I want to create, that it will be heard and promoted the right way, and perhaps my days of living like a tramp are over. Perhaps.
