Ich hab heute zum ersten mal dieses großartige Lied von Phil Ochs gehört. Hier kriegen die (Pseudo-)Liberalen so richtig ihr Fett von Links weg. Ich find den Text, die Melodie und den Vortrag wirklich steil!

Ist das Deine Lieblingsstelle?

Von wann ist eigentlich dieses Konzert? ( Ich habe leider keinerlei Angaben dazu. )

Leider geben die Liner Notes auch nicht allzuviel her. Aufgenommen bei verschiedenen Konzerten im Winter 1965-66….

Fett geschrieben hab ich die Zeile weil ich mich an diesem Tag ziemlich über die ach so liberalen demokratischen Abgeordneten geärgert habe, die Präsident Bush eine Generalvollmacht ausstellen wenn es zu times like korea kommt …

Bei mir läuft die ganze CD jetzt oft und sie ist als gesamtes wunderschön, kann sie nur jedem und jeder empfehlen! Sehr guter Gesang, starke Songs, dichte Athmosphäre, wer Phil Ochs und/oder gutes politisches (Folk-)Songwriting mach, sollte sich das Teil zulegen. Es zahlt sich aus!
