The Strokes are gearing up for work on a new album.
The band’s last album was ‚First Impressions Of Earth‘, which came out in January 2006. After touring that record, they have been very quiet.
Posting on their Official site bassist Nikolai Fraiture said: „I’d like to say that I’m still looking very forward to a fourth album release. We just need to work out a few technical kinks.“
Fraiture added that „It’s been a long break but much needed for us to remain together as a productive band“.
No release date for the material has been set.
