Potz Blitz, Mozza! „Bat Out Of Hell II“ im Sandwich zwischen „Be Here Now“ und „Maladjusted“! Das ist…ähm…recht merkwürdig. Überhaupt ist alles vertreten, von * bis * * * * *, letzteres jedoch deutlich öfter. Sogar acht Überschneidungen mit meiner eigenen Top100 habe ich registriert. Die vielen *-LPs, die Du gern im Tandem mit Sokrates mit reichlich Sternen garnierst, von Phil Collins bis Chris De Burgh, fehlen erfreulicherweise. Was mich wundert: obwohl mehr als ein Fünftel Deiner LP-Faves von Elton John bzw. Simon oder/und Garfunkel sind, fehlen deren beste Platten (die frühen S&G-Alben, „There Goes Rhymin‘ Simon“, „Angel Clare“, „Elton John“). How come? Auch fragt sich, warum bei Deinem offenkundigen Hang zum Moderaten und musikalisch Höflichen nicht mehr Platten der Beatles und Wings Eingang gefunden haben. Kennst Du sie womöglich noch garnicht (wie alt bist Du eigentlich)? Warum von Townes gerade diese beiden? Warum nichts aus der Zeit vor 1966 („Pet Sounds“)? Und: ist Dir bewußt, daß Du noch gar nichts weißt, wenn Du nicht weißt, daß das Leben ohne Platten von George Jones ein falsches ist?
