New CD album by Lee
Lee is working on his new (and final, so he says…) CD album with working title ‚Cake or death‘. Lee unfolded his plans for this album already during the 2002 concert tour. Many musicians from present and past will collaborate with Lee on this album. On the 7th and 8th of March (2005) Lee, Al Casey and Tommy Parsons were recording demos in Tempe (AZ) at Mayberry Studios (owned by Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms). It has 10 new songs of which one is written with Duane Eddy. Also two covers, including a cool version of ‚(It ain’t) Nothing to me‘ that he first cut with Loy Clingman for Liberty Bell and Dot in 1956! The actual album will be recorded in Sweden in a few months. No label information at this time. (Thanks to John Dixon for his info on this)
