kennt die jemand und kann mir sagen, wie kirks anteil daran ausfällt?
LPs haben ja den Nachteil, dass man sich alle 20 Minuten erheben muss… CD10 der Box Rahsaan – The Complete Mercury Recordings of Roland Kirk enthält ausschliesslich Aufnahmen mit Quincy Jones, ist also doch mehr als ich gedacht hatte!

Wie ausführlich jeweils Kirks Soli sind kann ich nicht sagen, ohne die CD zuerst mal wieder anzuhören… sie sind teilweise aber nur sehr klein. Wegen Kirk allein lohnen sich die Alben wohl wenig, in der 10CD Box sind die Stücke ausserhalb der Chronologie auf CD10 zusammengefasst und eine Art hübsche Fussnote, viel mehr nicht.
