Nein. Als der Song 1984 erschien, war es die Zeit der Medienprivatisierung, begannen Sender-Programmierung und die Dominanz des MTV-Zeitalters. Es ist ein sentimentaler Rückblick inkl. Abgesang auf die gute alte Zeit des „Dampfradios“ – hier die Lyrics:
