My friend works with this photographer and told me they did a session for the Guardian, so keep an eye out.
. She said there’s an amazing photo similar to the Lynch one on that site.
Spoke to my friend last night, the one who worked with Morrissey last week.
The Guardian contacted her (she manages that photographer) asking to do Morrissey’s shoot. It’s gonna be on the Guardian Magazine (Saturday one), I’ll give you all a heads up.
She said Morrissey was extremely nice, he turned up on a red polo, jeans and silver trainers, yes, silver trainers… and he said ‚Do you like them? That’s my new look for 2010‘ haha. She asked where is he living at the moment and he said he’s living in London at the moment.

Sounds like good news to me. I can’t believe Moz would be doing all this publicity if he’s only promoting the re-release of Bona.
I’m hoping it means there is some more substantial news to report – at the very least a proper new record contract.
I tend to agree that there is more news to come. Why would Morrissey being doing an interview with The Guardian, with an all-new photo shoot with a top photographer, just to promote the re-release of a 20 year old record? He did no promotion whatsoever for the ‚Southpaw Grammar‘ and ‚Maladjusted‘ re-releases. It may not be a tour, it may be more new ‚old‘ material (compliation DVD of vinatge visuals), it may be The Booky Wook autobiography who knows?
this will be the first british interview since the infamous NME interview 2007. he has, between 2008-2010 only giving interviews with german,danish , irish and american publications

I work for his masters voice and the guy i know is involved in organising all of our instore signings and performances – was told it was in discussion at the moment , and the „seaside town“ bit was quoted from him. so if it does happen it will have to be in a town that has a decent sized store ! as i say it is not 100% confirmed but will let you know

a family friend, who works in a concession in an upmarket department store in the Trafford Centre, has told me that Morrissey shopped there last week! I have no reason to doubt my friends story, but realise they may be mistaken… They said that Morrissey was returning an expensive vase – that’s how they realised – they asked for name etc, for return, and he said Mr M… He then bought £400 worth of candles!
