Apropos UNCUT: Die 100. Ausgabe (September-Heft) ist wirklich toll! „100 Rock and Movie Icons on the Music and Films that changed our world“ ist absolut gelungen. U.a. Frank Black über „Fight Club“, Jarvis Cocker über Magazines „Shot by Both Sides“, Rufus Wainwright über „Aretha Franklins „I say a little prayer“, Andrew Loog Oldham über „Rebel without a cause“, Paul Weller über „What’s Going On“, John Cale über „Horses“, Robert Plant über „Forever chnages“, Johnny Marr über „Eight Miles High“, Keith Richards über „Johnny B. Goode“, Bo Diddley über das erste Clash-Album, Patti Smith über „Like a rolling Stone“. Dazu sehr schöne Fotos: die jeweiligen Künstler wurden mit den Original Vinyl-Alben und Singles-Covers fotografiert.
