Nicht drin sind damit leider u.a. Geri Allen (mit Haden/Motian in Montreal und im Village Vanguard) ganz nah dran, Eve Risser und die zwei Alben mit dem Trio „en corps“, das Colin Vallon Trio, Martial Solal, Hampton Hawes („I’m All Smiles“ ist aktuell der heisseste Kandidat, vor „The Trio Vol. 2“ und „Here and There“), Mary Lou Williams („Free Spirits“), Steve Kuhn („Life’s Magic“ oder „Live at Birdland“), Don Pullen („New Beginnings“), Fred Hersch („Live at the Village Vanguard“), Wynton Kelly („Kelly at Midnite“), das Borderlands Trio (Stephan Crump, Kris Davis und Eric McPherson – „Wandersphere“), Masahiko Sato/Peter Warren/Pierre Favre („Trinity“) … und klar, Monk und Powell fehlen auch. 20 sind halt zu wenig, das Austarieren zwischen den Dekaden schon recht schwierig: vielleicht hab ich immer noch zu viel frühes drin (Jamal, Costa, Hope, Nichols, Hipp, Clark …), weil im Klaviertrio später fraglos wahnsinnig tolle Dinge passieren. Aber das ist er jetzt, der momentane Stand des Irrtums.
