John Edwards / Luis Vicente / Vasco Trilla – Choreography of Fractures | Zugang zu den Einträgen im Jahr des Trios … John Edwards (b), Luis Vicente (t) und Vasco Trilla (perc) und pflegen eine lyrische Spielart der freie Improvisation. Das ist irgendwie so ätherisch wie handgreiflich, so abstrakt wie konkret, so melodisch wie geräuschhaft, so stringent wie brummelig … gefällt mir vom ersten Eindruck her wirklich gut.
Disclaimer: nachdem ich über die „spröde“-Beiträge zum Lehman/Turner-Braxton-Album stolpere (ich find das nicht spröde, aber ich find auch vieles von Konitz, Marsh, Tristano nicht spröde), finden das manche hier vielleicht – spröde?
