GERM – Terry Riley: Keyboard Study 2 / Pierre Mariétan: Initiative 1 (mixed with Systèmes) | Von der überbordenden Free-Elektronik zum doppelklavierigen Minimalismus, aufgenommen mit soviel Hall, dass das alles verschwimmt und wie ein dicker Bühnenvorhang klingt … GERM steht für Groupe d’étude et réalisation musicales, die Formation wurde 1966 u.a. vom Schweizer Komponisten Mariétan gegründet. Gérard Frémy und Martine Joste spielen die zwei Klaviere auf der ersten Seite (Riley), auf der zweiten sind zudem auch Philippe Blachette (v), Chantal Lemaire (vc), Philippe Drogoz (b), Louis Roquin (t), Mariétan (frh), Jean-Yves Bosseur (rebab, little flute), and Bernadette Val (Sopranstimme) dabei.
