Ich hab die Tage u.a. dieses neue Doppelalbum (na ja, digital only) vom ICP Orchestra gehört, also einfach im Stream auf Bandcamp.Ein Mitschnitt des Konzerts zum 90. von Misha Mengelberg, das eine breite Werkschau bietet und ziemlich toll ist.

Ansonsten immer wieder was aus Südafrika: Barney Rachabane, Roots, Spirits Rejoice, Asagai, die Blue Notes in Genf, The Movers, und auch von Spokes Mashiyane (ich ärgere mich immer noch etwas, dass er in Murray Lerners „Festival“ nach einer Kuriosität – eine Dame, die mit den Fingern ihre Backen spicken lässt – programmiert wurde, sodass sein Pennywhistle-Kwela so geframt ist, als hätte man da mal noch rasch die nächste Zellentür in der Anstalt geöffnet).
Jetzt läuft das hier (Rip der Jubiläums SHM-CD aus Japan, die ich verpasst hatte, 2015 und mit zwei Bonustracks, die es nur bei der Ausgabe gibt):
