Das Trio mag ich in kleiner Dosis schon ganz gerne, Napoleon ist wirklich gut, Krupa macht immer Spass … aber die antics von Ventura muss man schon dosiert zu sich nehmen. Ich lernte das Trio via das Ventura/Phillips Verve Set von Mosaic kennen … wo aber schon v.a. die Phillips-Sessions super sind (zum Teil richtiggehend phantastisch) – vielleicht sind die Studio-Sessions auch eine Spur weniger exaltiert als das JATP-Material, aber da ich Ventura nie all zu lang am Stück höre, kann ich das gar nicht sagen
