Mir ist neulich erst bewusst geworden, wie großartig dieses Leader-Debüt von Branford Marsalis ist. Allein der Opener mit Ron Carter und Marvin Smith begeistert mich jedes Mal, danach das tolle New York-Jazz-Tribute und titelgebende Mingus-Stück.
