DEAN DE LUCCA is a freelance multimedia producer, specialised in the field of music, video and multimedia products.
This includes music composing, arrangements, remixing, mastering, label promotion activities, video production, directing, editing, dvd authoring, web design, digital photography and digital editing.In 2004, he established his own company called deLucca Media. In just two years period, the company takes care of more then 50 international artists.
Dean de Lucca chairman of DeLucca Media – born and raised in Maribor / Slovenia, now still lives here and continues with his career. At the age of five, he managed to write his first song and even record it by himself. Unusual for a child of this age. After some years in the music school, he became fascinated by the electronic sound. He immediately knew – synthesizers are his secret wish that would have to come true – and in the last years – computers.
Through the adolescence years and while growing up, he never had too much success with his musical experiences. But he never gave up either. His first album was produced back in 1994. Unfortunately, with no success. Soon after that, he teamed up with a local producer Yanis Pascal and released an album called “XP-RATION”. A well known German producer was impressed by the album and first Radio airplays have followed. Beside all of that, he still needed to finish school and financially survive. So, Dean finished his exams at Goethe language institute and became German interpreter.
New millennium brought new chances and success. He finally got a chance to remix Slovenian Superstars – called Babilon. The song became a huge success and opened many doors. Rebeka Dremelj (a former Slovenian Miss) followed and kept Dean’s success rate rising. In the meantime, he was even able to remix well known world stars like Herbert Groenemeyer and many more. This is how Dean turned his lifelong dream into reality and has now produced over 150 tracks, many of them were airplay or chart hits at national and international record labels. At present time – he owns a five years publishing deal with Universal music and several options at Sony and Universal.
He is one of the few, if not the only one, who can offer his clients full production – starting from zero to having a released hit.
