Davon das erste Album, solo im Februar 1957 aufgenommen („Erroll Garner“, im Trio, ist von 1953 und lief vor ein paar Wochen mal wieder) … klingt warm aber ziemlich dumpf in dieser Ausgabe … ist ja auch generell keine empfehlenswerte Reihe (ich hatte „Bitches Brew“ anfänglich mal in so einer Ausgabe, da verstand ich nicht mal, welche Sounds von welchen Instrumenten stammten) … auch wenn Renaud sicher keine schlechten Alben ausgewählt hat. Das Titelstück ist der Closer und Garners zweites Original nach „No More Time“, sonst gibt’s vier Standards: „You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To“, „I Surrender Dear“, „If I Had You“ und „Don’t Take Your Love from Me“ – feines Programm, finde ich.
