Das ist natürlich super! Aber schon etwas atypisch für Eskelins Schaffen insgesamt? Ich höre allerdings das klanglich recht spröde Trio mit Weber/Griener (zwei Alben auf Intakt) als eine Art Fortsetzung … das ist aber mehr Swing-Revival als Balladenkunst:
