talkinghead2Matrix Resurrections (2021, Lana Wachowski) Boah, was für ein Scheißfilm. Da wollte wohl jemand mit der Fortsetzung einer Legende noch mal so richtig abkassieren. Total unlogischer Anschluss an den letzten Teil, endlose Wiederholungen einfach alles nur schlecht. Hatte Keanu Reeves das tatsächlich nötig. Er ist doch auch nicht mehr der Jüngste … brauchte er das Geld?
Ich fand den Film auf jeden Fall besser als Teil 3 und, abgesehen von der zentralen Action-Szene in Teil 2, auch besser als Teil 2. Man muss sich halt darauf einlassen, dass es den Wachowskis primär um Medienkritik ging. Die entsprechende Metaebene ist ja mehr als deutlich.
Der unlogische Anschluss und die Apple-Ästhetik sind Absicht.
Wer da abkassieren wollte und warum Wachowski, Reeves und Moss wieder dabei sind, wird doch sogar im Film gesagt:
