Noch eine Story:
Ich war ja zweimal in New Orleans, beruflich, mit reichlich privater Zeit. Gewohnt habe ich im „Dauphin’s“, in der Dauphin St., zwei parallel zur Bourbon. Im Nachhinein habe ich erfahren, daß der Grocery-Store von Matassa nur ein paar hundert Meter vom Hotel entfernt lag. Ich hätte also locker auf ein Schwätzchen vorbeischauen können, ja: müssen. Verpasst, ich wusste es einfach nicht.
