Ein individuelle Stimme hat natürlich einen hohen Wiederkennungswert und spricht den Hörer unmittelbar und emotional an. Ich kenne nicht viel von Lockjaw Davis. Er wohl keine ganz so große Nummer wie Coleman Hawkins und Ben Webster, aber auf jeden Fall hatte er Charakter. Vielleicht ist „herzhaft“ das richtige Wort – egal, ob das Wort Teil Weinvokabulars ist oder nicht.
