PS: Passend zum Hörprogramm mit Ferguson lese ich gerade, dass Don Sebesky verstorben ist (10. Dezember 1937 – 29. April 2023). Lief hier zuletzt mit Kenny Burrell („Blues – The Common Ground“, „Night Song“), Ferguson und Chris Connor (er hat eine der gross besetzten Sessions auf deren „Sings the Gershwin Alamanac of Songs“ arrangiert – noch ein Jahr bevor er ab 1958 auch als Instrumentalist bei Fergusons ersten Roulette-Aufnahmen dabei war).
