Very special indeed – Junko Onishi in verschiedenen Duos: fünf mit dem Gitarristen Takayoshi Baba, zwei mit José James, eins mit Shinnosuke Takahashi an Becken, eins im kurzen Closer mit Yosuke Inoue am Bass, eins mit sich selbst (Piano + Fender Rhodes), dazu in der Mitte ein Trio mit Klarinette und Bassklarinette (Takuya Mori, Yoshie Sato) … und doch funktioniert das quasi als Solo-Album irgendwie ganz gut. Es gibt Strayhorn zweimal mit James und wirklich stark (Lush Life, A Flower Is a Lovesome Thing), Johnny Green (I Cover the Waterfront) und Porter (Easy to Love) neben Verdi (Willow Song aus „Otello“) und Tschaikowki (die Barcarolle aus den Jahreszeiten), Lins (Começar de novo/The Island), Legrand (How Do You Keep the Music Playing) und Earth Wind & Fire (After the Love Has Gone), eingerahmt vom Titelstück, das als kurzes Intro (mit den Becken) und Outro (mit dem Kontrabass) erklingt. Ein echt seltsames Album, das aber doch ganz schön ist.
