lysolSolche Listen mit schlechten Alben finde ich aber ganz nett.
Zumindest bietet Derartiges auch immer Diskutables. Und hier liegen die Rezensenten imho mal komplett richtig („Blondie“, „The Strokes“), mal sehr nah dran an der Wahrheit (Dylan, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Elton John), aber auch mal weiter weg („The Kinks“) und in manchen Fällen Lichtjahre entfernt von einer korrekten Wahl (Paul Weller, Paul McCartney). Auch bei R.E.M. oder Neil Young wären mir zu dem Thema zunächst andere Alben eingefallen. Wie man allerdings „Driving rain“ zu einem Tiefpunkt im Werk von Macca erklären kann, wird mir ein Rätsel bleiben. Ich meine, das Album hat Stücke wie „Lonely road“, „From a lover to a friend“, „She’s giving up talking“, „Spinning on an axxis“, „Back in the sunshine again“ oder „Rinse the raindrops“ und on the other hand hat der Mann Alben wie „Press to play“ herausgebracht.
