Diese BN-Sessions mag ich ja eh gerne … Vorsicht ist ev. bloss bei George Lewis angesagt, da sind für die erste Hälfte die American Music CDs wohl die erste Wahl. Und Die späten Aufnahmen aus dem RVG-Studio (so richtig originaler Dixieland in der Aufnahmequalität ist super!) gab’s dann mal noch als Einzel-CD, zum 60. von Blue Note glaub ich, 1998? Die sechs Veröffentlichungen von damals waren meine erste Begegnung mit den frühen Trad/Swing-Sessions von BN.
