@friedrich In Sachen Trompetenobbligati hat Edison bei mir klar die Nase vorn … und dann sind da ja noch Ben Webster und davor Benny Carter. Und dann ist da Jimmy Rowles, dessen generelle Wertschätzung bei mir auf „The Peacocks“ und den Holiday-Sessions beruhen dürfte. (Hab ich das richtig im Kopf, dass @vorgarten mit Rowles Mühe bekundet/nicht recht rankommt?)
