David Murray Quartet – Love and Sorrow | Ich hoffe, mir ist niemand böse, wenn ich die Diskussion von oben nicht nochmal aufgreife – bin zu erschöpft dafür und lege lieber einfach meine Murray-Scheibe aus den 90ern ein – ein wunderbares Standards/Balladen-Album mit einer klasse Band (John Hicks, Fred Hopkins, Idris Muhammad). Daneben – zeitlich davor, glaub ich, bin aber nicht mehr sicher – gab es noch die „44th Street Suite“ von McCoy Tyner, was dann wohl auch die erste Begegnung mit Arthur Blythe war.
