Survivor! Die gab’s ja auch noch. Das Album „Caught in the game“ hat tatsächlich ein paar feine Tracks. Mein „Journey“-Problem ist wohl Steve Perry. Seinen Gesang schätze ich nicht sonderlich. Und „Infinity“ war das erste Album damals mit Steve Perry.
Habe gerade mal geschaut, was ich an AOR in der Sammlung habe. Ein Band-Ranking würde bei mir da wohl aus dem Gedächtnis so aussehen: Foreigner > REO Speedwagon > Survivor > Boston > Journey > Toto > Styx > Asia. Ohne Gewähr auf Vollständigkeit. Und REO Speedwagon z.B. waren, weit bevor Tracks wie „Keep on lovin‘ you“ oder „Can’t fight this feeling“ die Charts stürmten, eine recht veritable Rock-Band.
