atomAber leider müssen wir uns zukünftig nur noch mit Archiv-Material begnügen, denn King Crimson haben in Tokyo ihr letztes Konzert gespielt: Dennoch großen Respekt für diese lange, tolle Zeit!
Oh Mann, das wusste ich nicht. Habe jetzt mal in der englischen Wikipedia nachgeschaut und das macht wirklich nur wenig Hoffnung:
The band toured North America and then Japan in 2021. Levin wrote on his blog that the last Japanese date was, „the final concert of the tour, and quite possibly the final King Crimson concert“. That and comments shortly before by Fripp on social media were interpreted as meaning that King Crimson, or at least this line-up, had come to an end. Levin and Jakszyk had earlier said that the North America tour was probably the band’s last.
Das wäre bitter, ich habe selten eine Band so exzessiv erforscht und lieb gewonnen wie KC in den letzten Monaten.
