Horace Tapscott – Song of the Unsung & The Call

ich bin ja wirklich kein Experte fuer neuere Vinylreissues, kaufe sowas nur, wenn es wirklich sein muss… aber was schon auffaellt, ist dass The Call rundum mehr Spass macht als Songs of the Unsung, fuehlt sich solider an, klingt besser, knistert nicht… fairerweise: ein Big Band Album ist vom Sound her auch robuster als Piano Solo… aber ich glaub The Call (Outernational Sounds) ist schlicht das ueberlegene Produkt im Vergleich zu Songs of the Unsung (Survival Research)
