marc-74Ja,Series Of Dreams ist schon klasse. Empfehlenswert ist da auch die 5 Track Promo CD zur BS 1-3,auf der ein anderer Mix des Songs ist.
Na, da bin ich ja mal gespannt!
Die Version der Promo CD hat einen „clear“ start und wird nicht eingefadet wie auf BS 1-3,wo sich der Anfang von Series Of Dreams mit dem Ende von When The Night Comes Falling From The Sky überschneidet. Und die Promo Version hat ein paar geänderte Lyrics:
„Thinking of a series of dreams
Where the time and the tempo drag
Suddenly the gate is thrown open
And you’re left there holding the bag
Wasn’t making any great connection“
anstatt
„Thinking of a series of dreams
Where the time and the tempo drag
And there’s no exit in any direction
‚Cept the one that you can’t see with your eyes
Wasn’t making any great connection“
Ich denke,der Rest ist identisch mit der kommerziellen BS 1-3 Version. Keine riesigen Unterschiede also aber Dylan-Fans,die den Song mögen,sollten sich die Promo besorgen (falls nicht eh schon vorhanden).
Und dann gibt’s ja auch die Tell Tale Signs (BS 8) Version,die die Lyrics der Promo hat und dazu noch einen extra Vers,der auf den BS 1-3 Varianten nicht drauf ist:
„Thinking of a series of dreams
Where the middle and the bottom drop out
And you’re walking out of the darkness
And into the shadows of doubt
Wasn’t going to any great trouble
To believe in, „It’s whatever it seems“
