John Abercrombie/Dave Holland/Jack DeJohnette – Gateway 2 | Das ist quasi das lyrisch-verhaltene Gegenstück zum ersten Album? Es gibt Momente, in denen Abercrombie fast wie Frisell (und damit gar nicht so weit von Metheny) klingt hier, z.B. in „Sing Song“. Auch das ein hervorragendes Album – und vielleicht eines, das mich fast mehr berührt als das erste?
