Got the 3 LP orange set yesterday. Trifold cover with booklet and download card on one of the unlined inner sleeves which were replaced. Got my copy for $38 from Amazon US. This is the German pressing from what I can tell. Not sure if there are any others for this version. Happy days, Amazon shipped it in a protective box. Cover is perfect and all three records are perfectly flat.
The sound is way better than I expected, and I mean it really is good. Fantastic bottom end with great clarity, just make for one awesome listen and one hell of a ride. The music, especially if you like that free form stretched out there vibe from Tago Mago and then some, this should please big time. Not even sure if that’s a proper comparison. If there was any surface noise, I surely did not hear hardly any.
Karoli’s guitar playing is up front and present throughout and does it ever impress. I want to mention side E PT. 3 here, as talk about one awesome sounding psychedelic roller coaster ride, wow!
If this is any indication of what’s to come, I can’t wait to hear what’s next…but for now, this is Highly Recommended indeed!
